How we work with clients
We begin with a survey. Our surveyor inspects the covering, checks falls and outlets, looks for trapped moisture in the build-up and photographs anything that needs attention. You then receive a digital report with those photographs, a clear explanation of what is failing and why, and an itemised price covering preparation, materials, access and disposal. There is no obligation to proceed and no pressure to buy a system you do not need.
During the works we keep the site tidy, protect the areas below and give you a realistic programme rather than an optimistic one. On completion we walk the roof with you, hand over guarantee documentation and photographs of the finished detailing, and set out the simple annual checks that keep a flat roof performing for decades.
Materials and accreditation
We install liquid-applied waterproofing, EPDM rubber, GRP fibreglass, torch-on felt, mastic asphalt and single ply membranes. Our preferred system for overlays is cold-applied liquid waterproofing: it is fast-curing, involves no naked flame, bonds seamlessly around awkward details and can often be installed over a sound existing roof, avoiding the cost and disruption of a full strip-out.
We are award-recognised for our project work and hold the accreditations expected of a contractor working on public and commercial buildings. Just as importantly, we are open about what each system cannot do - because the right specification for your roof depends on its size, access, foot traffic, insulation requirements and how long you plan to own the building.
